JUNIOR OILERS INK TWO FORWARDS

The Tulsa Junior Oilers have signed forwards Dylan Pepper and Luke Yahola.

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Junior Oilers, proud member of the NA3HL and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Thursday the signings of forwards Dylan Pepper and Luke Yahola.

Pepper, 20, joins Tulsa after starting the season with the Decatur Blaze of the USPHL and St. Louis Junior Blues of the NA3HL.

“We were fortunate to get connected with Dylan,” said General Manager Chi-Yin Tse. “He’s been a healthy addition to the team and brings us a little bit more physicality and is strong on the puck. He should give us a little more pop.”

The 6-foot Springfield, Missouri native appeared in two games for the Blaze and 19 for the Jr. Blues, registering one goal and two assists.

Yahola, 16, was the first overall pick by the Jr. Oilers in the 2024 NA3HL draft. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native has spent time with both the Jr. Oilers of the NA3HLand Tulsa Jr. Oilers 18U AA.

“I’ve been really impressed with Luke at his practices and games with the 18UAA team,” said Tse. “He played very well in Blaine and I just thought it was the right time to bring him up for the remainder of the year. We’re excited to add his speed to our lineup.”

The 5-foot-10 forward has one goal in four appearances with the NA3HL program and three goals and three assists in 14 games with the 18U program.

The Jr. Oilers are back in action at home on Friday, Jan. 24 against the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from the WeStreet Ice Center is set for 7 p.m.
