BRACHLOW RETURNS TO OILERS BLUE LINE

Defenseman Kurtis Brachlow returns to Tulsa Oilers for the 2025-26 season

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Oilers Junior Hockey Club, proud member of the North American 3 Hockey League and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Monday the re-signing of defenseman Kurtis Brachlow for the 2025-26 season.

Brachlow, 18, appeared in six games for the Texas Roadrunners last season before being traded to Tulsa, adding two assists in 38 games with the Jr. Oilers to his season total.

“We’re excited to welcome Kurtis back to Tulsa for the upcoming season,” said Head Coach Chi-Yin Tse. “He showed tremendous growth both on and off the ice last year, and we’re eager to see how his development continues this season.”

Prior to his junior career, the Edmonton, Alberta native split time with the Houston Aeros 18U AA and Cypress Woods High. In 20 games with the Aeros, the 6-foot defenseman registered one goal and four assists. In 17 games with Cypress Woods, Brachlow recorded 14 goals and seven assists.

Brachlow joins Cassius Hook, Johnny Arruda, Noah Leriger, Charlie Scott, Stone Baulch and David Gifford as announced signings for the 2025-26 season. Stay tuned for more roster transactions as the offseason progresses.

The Oilers open up the season at home against the Austin Ice Bats on Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. The weekend continues from the WeStreet Ice Center on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.
