FORWARD LUKE YAHOLA RETURNS TO OILERS FOR FIRST FULL SEASON
Luke Yahola signs with Tulsa Oilers for the 2025-26 season.
TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Oilers Junior Hockey Club, proud member of the North American 3 Hockey League and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Wednesday the re-signing of forward Luke Yahola for the 2025-26 season.
Yahola, 17, was selected first overall in the 2024 NA3HL Draft, being Tulsa’s first-ever pick. The 2008-born forward was signed late last season, appearing in 17 games, registering two goals and one assist.
“We’re fired up to have Luke [Yoyo] back in Tulsa,” Head Coach Chi-Yin Tse said. “Yahola brings a dynamic mix of speed and size to our lineup every night, and he’s entering his sophomore season with something to prove. His hunger to grow and compete is contagious — and we can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make on and off the ice!”
Before moving up to the NA3HL, Yahola started the season with the Tulsa Jr. Oilers 18U AA and high school programs. The 5-foot-10 forward recorded five goals and three assists in nine games with the high school squad, adding three goals and three assists in 14 games with 18U AA.
Yahola joins Chase Boswell, Ethan Bellamy, Willy Fischer, Caleb Gamboa, Montana Medina, Toby House, Willy Fischer, Jack Salverson, Evan Scholl, Henry Pinkerman, Kurtis Brachlow, Cassius Hook, Johnny Arruda, Noah Leriger, Charlie Scott, David Gifford and Stone Baulch as announced signings for the 2025-26 season.
The Oilers continue their homestand on Friday, Sept. 19, against the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Puck drop from the WeStreet Ice Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma is set for 7:15 p.m.
