JUNIOR OILERS ACQUIRE HOOK FROM YELLOWSTONE

The Tulsa Junior Oilers have acquired forward Cassius Hook in exchange for Jackson Pick.

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Junior Oilers, proud member of the NA3HL and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Wednesday the acquisition of Cassius Hook from the Yellowstone Quake in exchange for Jackson Pick.

Pick appeared in 35 games for the Jr. Oilers last season, netting one goal.

“While it’s always tough to see a player move on, we’re excited for the opportunity ahead of Jackson,” said Head Coach Chi-Yin Tse. “We’re incredibly grateful to him and his family for their support throughout our inaugural season. Jackson played an important role in laying the foundation of this team, and we wish him nothing but the best as he continues his junior hockey journey in Yellowstone.”

Hook, 17, returns to the South Division after spending the 2023-24 season and beginning the 2024-25 season with the Austin Ice Bats prior to being traded to Yellowstone.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Cash to Tulsa for the upcoming season,” said Tse. “In our conversation, I was struck by his character, maturity and genuine enthusiasm about the opportunity to play here. He’s deeply committed to his development and eager to contribute to the growth of junior hockey in Tulsa. Cash brings a strong work ethic, steady confidence, and the kind of temperament that fits perfectly with the foundation we’re building. I’m excited to watch him grow and make his mark in Tulsa.”

The Plymouth, Michigan native appeared in 27 total games with the Austin Ice Bats, recording one goal before adding another to his season total in 28 games with the Quake.
