JUNIOR OILERS DRAFT LOCAL PRODUCT, COMPLETE SERIES OF TRANSACTIONS
The Tulsa Junior Oilers announced several roster transactions made at the 2025 NA3HL Draft.
TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Junior Oilers, proud member of the NA3HL and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Wednesday several roster transactions made at the 2025 NA3HL Draft, including the fourth-round selection of defenseman Grayson Butler.
Butler, 17, appeared in 20 games for the Tulsa Junior Oilers 18U AA last season, registering one assist from the blue line.
“The growth and development of local talent continues to be a focal point for our organization,” Head Coach Chi-Yin Tse said. “We kept tabs on Grayson all season long and know that this next year will be a huge development year for him. We are eager to see what his full potential is and will help get him there this season.”
The Jr. Oilers continued moves, completing trades with the New Jersey Titans and Badlands Sabres.
Tulsa sent its first-round pick to New Jersey in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NA3HL Draft and two 2026 tenders from the Titans.
The Jr. Oilers also shipped their second and third-round picks to Badlands, receiving the Sabres’ 2026 picks in those same rounds.
Additionally, the Jr. Oilers tendered defensemen Ethan Bombalski and Noah Leriger and forward Chase Boswell.
Bombalski, 19, appeared in 108 games for the Pittsburgh Stars, recording 37 goals and 51 assists.
“Bomber is exactly that,” Tse said. “He makes his presence known on the ice with big hits and bombs from the blue line. We are excited to see what he can do for us on the back end; he was a huge asset for the Pittsburgh Stars this season.”
Leriger, 18, appeared in 30 games for the Oakland Bears 18U AA last season, logging 11 assists.
“Noah is a big body that will help us on the backend this season,” Tse said. “We like his decision making ability and first look up ice. He possesses the ability to control the puck without overthinking. He’ll be a huge asset on the blue line.”
Boswell, 17, appeared in 18 games for the Tulsa Oilers 18U AA, recording four goals and five assists.
“Chase had a good year developing with the TJO 18U squad this past season,” Tse said. “I really liked his attention to details. We were happy with his progress and look forward to seeing him continue his development with us this upcoming season.”
In the NA3HL, a tender is a contract that a player signs giving that team exclusive rights to the player. A player who signs a tender is ineligible to be recruited to or drafted by another team within the league, unless if a trade is made.
