OILERS INK VETERAN FORWARD CALEB GAMBOA

Forward Caleb Gamboa signs with Tulsa Oilers for his final season of juniors.

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Oilers Junior Hockey Club, proud member of the North American 3 Hockey League and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Thursday the signing of forward Caleb Gamboa for the 2025-26 season.

Gamboa, 20, enters his third and final year of juniors after splitting last season with the Great Falls Americans and Gillette Wild, before being dealt to Tulsa in an offseason move.

“We were eager to bring in Caleb at last season’s trade deadline, but the timing didn’t work out,” Head Coach Chi-Yin Tse said. “Since then, we’ve heard nothing but great things about his leadership and the positive impact he has in the locker room. We believe he’ll be a strong fit in helping us build a culture that supports our players and the long-term vision of the organization.”

In 17 games with the Wild, the Yuma, Arizona native logged one goal and three assists. Prior to his tenure in Gillette, the 6-foot-1 forward spent the 2023-24 season and part of the 2024-25 season with Great Falls, notching four assists with the Americans in 39 outings.

Gamboa joins Montana Medina, Toby House,  Jack Salverson, Evan Scholl, Henry Pinkerman, Kurtis Brachlow, Cassius Hook, Johnny Arruda, Noah Leriger, Charlie Scott, David Gifford and Stone Baulch as announced signings for the 2025-26 season. Stay tuned for more roster transactions as the offseason progresses.

The Oilers open up the season at home against the Austin Ice Bats on Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. The weekend continues from the WeStreet Ice Center on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.
