OILERS REEL IN WILLY FISCHER FOR SECOND SEASON

Forward Willy Fischer returns to Tulsa Oilers for the 2025-26 season.

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Oilers Junior Hockey Club, proud member of the North American 3 Hockey League and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Monday the re-signing of forward Willy Fischer for the 2025-26 season.

Fischer, 17, appeared in all 47 games last season, being the only Oiler to do so, logging three goals and five assists.

“Bringing Willy back was a top priority for us this offseason,” Head Coach Chi-Yin Tse said. “He exemplifies the kind of player every team wants — relentless, resilient, and team-first. He never backs down from a challenge, and his positive mindset and willingness to sacrifice make him an invaluable asset to our group.”

Prior to embarking on his junior career, the Hudson, Wisconsin native split the 2023-24 season between Team Wisconsin 15U AAA and Hudson High. The 5-foot-5 forward appeared in 33 games with Team Wisconsin, registering four goals and three assists, adding two goals and three assists to his season total in 22 games with Hudson High.

Fischer joins Caleb Gamboa, Montana Medina, Toby House, Jack Salverson, Evan Scholl, Henry Pinkerman, Kurtis Brachlow, Cassius Hook, Johnny Arruda, Noah Leriger, Charlie Scott, David Gifford and Stone Baulch as announced signings for the 2025-26 season. Stay tuned for more roster transactions as the offseason progresses.

The Oilers open up the season at home against the Austin Ice Bats on Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. The weekend continues from the WeStreet Ice Center on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.
