ROOKIE TRIO SIGN WITH JUNIOR OILERS
The Tulsa Junior Oilers have signed three more rookies for the 2024-25 season
TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Junior Oilers, proud member of the NA3HL and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Wednesday the signing of Brayden Hagemann, Nick Low and Henry Pinkerman for the 2024-25 season.
Hagemann, 18, comes in after spending the last two seasons with the Springfield Spirit high school program. In 62 games played, the 5-foot-11 defenseman logged 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points.
“He’s got a great attitude and he’s excited,” said head coach Zac Desjardins. “He’s not too flashy, but he just gets things done. He’s just that simple defenseman that makes the first passes, gets everything done the right way.”
Low, 19, comes in after spending the last two seasons with the Springfield Spirit high school program as well. In 62 games played, the 5-foot-10 forward recorded 32 goals and 12 assists for 44 points.
“His compete level is up there,” said Desjardins. “He just plays a very smart game, and he’s gonna be one of those guys, if you’re a true hockey fan, you watch it–you’re going to like what he’s doing on the ice.”
Pinkerman, 18, split time between Frisco High West and Texas Tigers 18U AA last season. Appearing in 30 games, Pinkerman netted 17 goals and logged nine assists for 26 points with Frisco High West. The Frisco, Texas native appeared in 18 games for the Tigers, logging four goals and five assists.
“What really stuck out to me was just his offensive mindset,” said Desjardins. “He’s got skill. I’m hoping what he brings to the table is a physical player who’s going to be going to the dirty areas, going hard to the net, going to get the rebound, going to get battles on the wall and stuff like that.”
Game action begins on Friday, Sept. 20 against the Austin Ice Bats. Puck drop from Ice & Field at The Crossover in Cedar Park, Texas is set for 8 p.m. All games can be streamed on NATV.
